I have a mystery Pheasant, to me that is. Considering I am not good at posting pics or making them smaller, I will give you this; He is mostly brown with a brown tail crossed in black. = The back of his neck shines a shimmering blue in sunlight. If I can send a pic to anyone via email, let me know. I am stumped. Ghost.  ???

Back by a special request!

This picture that was posted, is the outcome of a  Melanistic cock bird crossed with a Ring-necked hen.

The bottom picture of course is showing two Ring-necked cock birds.

If you notice the lower left Ring-necked, it has the traits of the Manchurian from the white feathering under the eye, where the lower right bird does not exhibit this trait, leaving the lower right Ring-necked to be a standard.

Thanks Steve, I would never thought about a cross! He's a beautiful bird and I plan on keeping him as a breeder. Ghost.
