I agree with the feels like autumn.  Western WI, 45-50* in the am and 75-80* in the pm.  The fact that it feels like fall is starting to give me the itch.  Bow season opens in one month!

52 this morning,  been a cool summer here, high so far has been mid 80s, and very few even to 80,  looks like the tomatoes will ripen in the house this ear. Same with the chilis.

Well here it is after a 2 week absents due to satellite problems at the farm in Slate, WV.

Current conditions as of 10:43 am EDT

Haze
Feels Like:65°
Barometer:29.57 in and steady
Humidity:31%
Visibility:4 mi
Dewpoint:60°
Wind:ESE 3 mph
Sunrise:6:37 am
Sunset:8:22 pm

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms developing this afternoon. High 81F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 30%.

Within the last two weeks the highs have only been in the lower to mid 80*s with the overnight going down in to the upper 40*s to mid 50*s.

It has definitely felt like fall weather lately. Hopefully we will get a turn-a-round in the next couple of days.

Have a nice day  j2

Hey Jake,
Have you tried covering your tomato plants when cool weather or frost is expected? then you can take it off when the warm weather returns, if it does.  Here's a tip, to allow the tomatoes to ripen quickly when their off the vine, just place them in a paper bag with a banana or two (apples might work too).  The gases given off by the banana will speed the process of ripening the tomatoes.

48F this morn when I got up.

I have a big sheet of plastic to start draping them, may even do it during the days.

Wheres global warming when you want it??

We've had a cold summer. No days at 90, only one or two mid 80s.
