OK, I thought I was somewhat savvy enough to figure this out, but I can't.....

Can anybody tell me how I can post pics in a Photobucket sub-album (on a forum such as this one) without the viewers being about to see all my pics in all of my albums/account.........and there not be a need for a password being involved?  Here is a link from the Photobucket forum where a person is asking the same thing, and can't get a straight answer from the adviser (see post #3) s176............http://forums.photobucket.com/showthread.php?t=32696&highlight=sharing+sub-album+on+a+forum

Randall
are you just trying to post pics on this forum ?
If so go to your photo album your pics are in and resize them to (web 320x240) save the changes and that will make them small enough to upload on this forum
you can only upload a couple at a time but it works

Yeah, Mike..........I guess I'm stubborn as a dang mule on this ::), but I've seen posts on here where it lets you click on a link to Photobucket, and see the pics in larger form, yet limits the viewer to that one sub-album.  I know it can be done, because some of the guys do it on a fishing forum I used to post on a lot.  I tried to resize a pic in Photobucket yesterday, and move it over to my post, but it would not copy and paste??  I've done this a lot on the other forum, only after downsizing it small enough to fit on your screen wiithout having to scroll over from side to side.  Besides that, like I mentioned yesterday, I tried to use the browser to paste one from my desktop, but it's too big...so it says.  I guess I could learn how to resize them, but just was wanting to keep the pics larger.  The Photobucket thang is really frustrating, cause I know some people know how to do it. I didn't think I was that computer illeterate, but then again......well.....  dk2

It's been a while since I've posted with photobucket and my internet connection has went down the tubes lately with phone line problems.

Maybe this will help........go to this thread:

http://www.thatquailplace.com/smf/index.php?topic=6185.0#quickreply

Once there, click on "quote".   You will see within the quote what was done to make the photobucket picture appear. I believe the link is posted within your photobucket account for each picture.  Anyway, this may give you an idea as to what to look for, it should look like this:

[IMGhttp://img.photobucket.co/albums/v140/rickJB/Aug202009Mule.jpg[/img]

10/06>  (I had to omit a couple letters/symbols in order to make it appear correctly)

As mentioned before, my connection is horrible right now, or I would give you more specifics.  Hope this helps until someone else can further instruct you or you figure it out.

Good Luck!!

lamike, I misunderstood your comment the first time, to answer your question, no. they're around but they're not close enough to worry about. The pictures were taken by some one else. They're in just about every state now. I've never tried it but some people swear catnip will draw them in.

Clickable thumb nail image from and leading to photobucket
