This Couturnix quail was fine until 1 week ago, then suddenly ill, not walking and had trouble breathing. Treating with Flagyl has helped the breathing issue but she still will not stand or walk. Moves legs, seems comfortable, eating.

Anyone have any idea what this is?

How long have you been treating this bird, so far?  What type feed, (turkey, chicken, game bird, whole grains) what level protein?  Are you feeding a product containing Histostat (nitarsone)?

We have been feeding the quail Flock Raiser...not sure about the Histostat.  We've been treating for about a week.
