Has anyone used this GroGel for quail and could you see better results using this or any other supplement in your chicks or just plain clean fresh water?

While birds in the wild may use plain water, they have a varied diet.

I provide a water soluble vitamin for their first few days. I also will give same to the breeders 1-2 times a week in breeding season.
