I have just had a hatch of ringneck around 25  All of them have hatched as of this morning 4-29 !
I have them in the brooder now.
I have another batch 92 pheasants going to hatch off on the 10th of May !
Can some one tell me if I can put all of these togather in the same brooder when this last bunch hatches off ?
The 1st bunch would be just a little over a week old
Or should I not put them togather in the same brooder .
Thanks

I doubt you would want to do that, beacuse the younger chicks would want to rest and they would be more vunerable than the older ones.  That could cause pecking and cannabalism. Plus you would have already lowered the brooder temp 5 degrees for the older chicks.

Mad,
I agreee with Country, you need to keep them serprete until they get to the age where you can put them in their grow out pens, then you can put them together. Thats what I do and have not had any problems. Later
