i've never raised quail but have raised chickens and other animals. looking at coturnix quail. i'm interested in self-sufficiency and am trying to start.
~i'd like to grow my own feed. until then i'd like to at least be able to mix my own. does anyone mix there own feed? anyone wanna share there recipe?
~i'm in ohio. what type of cage(s) should i use? i'd like to make them myself. what type of wire should i use? i've been thinking one like a rabbit cage but long.
