Hi, Just started raising bobwhites and have a question:  At what age is the best age to release them? 6 weeks? 12 weeks?  Thanx in advance for information.  It is always good information.  Although I only have 4 chicks so far, there are 200 eggs incubating.  Climate here is sub-tropical.  They should have enough cover and food (hopefully).  I just love these bobwhites and want to take good care of them.  Others that we have released do come back to our area.

I agree with 5- 6 weeks also. I have had great success at this age.
