Title: Chukar breeding pen
Post by: Outbackhill Kennels on December 05, 2008, 04:57:59 PM
I plan on raising a few chukar, the pen that I have for them is 3' high. I read that if they can fly in the cage they fly and hit their heads and do some serious damage or even kill them. Is this something I should worry about with this cage or should it all be fine?

That should be OK, they won't be able to jump that high, and won't be able to fly with enough speed.  Geneally, it's the jumping in a cage that causes the damage.  A solid, or covered, top will help if this becomes a problem.
