I'm looking to get on a regular schedule with someone who has an abundance of pharaoh eggs that they would like to move on a weekly or every other week basis..... Need not be fertile, but would like for them to be fairly fresh, as I will use them for pickling purposes.... Looking for 300-500 week or there-abouts.... Any leads or takers?

That's the main reason I asked the way I did.
Shipping may well bump the cost of the eggs out of reason. On the other hand, a constant supply is worth plenty. They would have to be insulated, which would increase box size, as well as adding a little bit of weight. They are generally cheaper than Bobwhite hatching eggs. But,.... they are heavier.

Any guidance with respect to what might be the fair and going price for the purchase of surplice fertile or non-fertile surplice eating eggs..... I regularly find it to be 25 - 30 cents per egg, but when I'm looking to purchase 300-500 a week x about 40 weeks, that makes the venture quite expensive.... I was thinking there might be someone out there looking to get sell eggs that they might normally be tossing because of having too many to set or sell.... thanx

Keep in mind this is off season right now. For anyone having an abundance of eggs they will either be indoors or under lighting. I could easily turn our lighting back on and have 500 per day if you need them but it wouldnt be cost efficient (I wouldnt think). They will eat three times as much (three times a ton per month currently), electric will go back up to $700 a month, plus postage to Texas and the cost of the foam (if using foam). I plan to start back up again shortly anyway and should be able to pull the sales of the eggs to make up for the cost but I really hate to see the feed bills every month. Two years ago it was $400 per ton then $700 per ton. Should have went back down again now but not sure since I've been buying 1/2 ton at a time. Perhaps someone on here closer to you can help. I'd be glad to help but everyone around here is not looking forward to the extra manpower starting January as opposed to April especially when water is usually frozen. But then again its hard to make money when you're not producing either.
