Why is it that everybody is afraid to put where they are from in there profile. I'de like to know where people are from when they post a comment. thank ya Jim. Just the state anyway or country.

If I post that I live in Canada, then people would think I live in an Igloo.

Then I'd get questions like: where does your power come from ?

Do lights melt your home ?

Does pee freeze before it hits the ground ?

What does Whale blubber taste like ?

Do you have roads up there ?

  Back to the original question;

  No doubt, many people who sign up, have no intention of being around much.  Also, many sites that require sign-up do so mainly to bolster their mailing lists.  I'm sure many people get tired of filling out profiles.  There is no way for new folks to know that they won't have problems from information they put in their profile, here.  Also, hardly anyone ever goes back to add information, once they decide to stick around (unless someone asks for it).

I'm with Jim on this,

no profile, no post.

No profile makes it too easy for scammers to operate.

Why are you guys hitting on our northern-most territory residents?  Dont distract him from caring for Santas reindeer .

Do the elves really get a chance to get out much??

Actually those things look like something we'd use for the Eagles to eat.

Truth be known, there really is Snipe in the U.S. Here's one link about the Wilson's Snipe (http://www.houstonaudubon.org/index.cfm/act/newsletter.cfm/newsletterid/724/category/Bird%20Gallery/MenuGroup/Home.htm). There's actually a hunting season on snipe which might be why it's confusing to some.

Wilson's Snipe ... Yes it's real...

I'M BACK- Been without electric, phone, and water for the last 8 days it's been _ell. Anyway I see the post about profiles went to _ell to, none the less everybody had a good time with it and that's what counts. Anyway never seen ice so thick on everything like it was last week glad it's over. Thought my flight pens were done for but the ice was so thick they froze without a swag in them. Got up in them to try to break the ice off them but it was useless. Then this pass Saturday night it got up to 42 degrees and sunday morning all the ice had melted off the trees & power lines and my flight pens. thank god the flight pens were unharmed any way nice to be back thank ya Jim

_ell yea, thats what _issed me off had about 600 eggs in the incubator Tenn reds-butlers- Georgia giants valley quail and reg bobs.  And because the elec was off they had just about quit laying but  i put candles in there at night and they are  still laying now that the elec is back on. Just goes to show ya that you don't need that much light to keep them laying. Anyway put the eggs I got while the elec was off in the incubator yesterday starting all over. thank ya Jim                                                                                                P.S. Just goes to show ya you can't get a quail lover down t15
