I think that Murry Oil is doing it and they sell at WalMart...They have so many stickers on those gas pumps that I do not pay to much attention to them any more..

I don't know if it is a state mandated thing or Federal mandate.

It is getting harder to find 100% gas, just like when they changed over to unleaded.

Water costs money. Develope a vehicle that runs on either solid cow and  c109 then we will talk business.

$2.95 here in Maine .  my father in law is running that water for gas system on his Nissan truck. he tried to get me hooked on it.  Not something I want to try on my new truck.  he called me the other day to ask about why his check engine light suddenly came on and he has about 10 trouble codes stored after the first highway trip since hooking the system up. ???

Dropped to 3.29 this afternoon, from 3.49 last eve.

The system I'd look into is a natural gas but am told its expensive for the conversion, plus finding it while traveling. But its half the price of gasoline.

So was diesel, until VW and M. Benz started selling cars here.  Add $.80 to the price of Natural, and you get an idea of the real cost.  Plus when the demand goes up.......

Reg. gas is $2.61 in Wichita Ks.  Dropping 2-6 cents per day, often three changes in one day.  Don't hear a lot of people praising Bush and Cheney, the way they cussed them six months ago.  Just like the credit I get for the things I do.

Still 3.29 here today.

In 2005, and again in 2006 the Gop tried to enact  bills to put restrictions on Fannie Mae and Fredie Mac, the Dems led by Pelosi and Reid voted it down, including Obama.

McCain spoke out against the free money of Fannie Mae and Fredie Mac in 2006 and tried to enact a bill with five other Senators(Republican) but it was tabled in the Dem dominated committee.

Obama has NEVER voted against his party leaders, McCain has often worked with Dems to enact legislation.

Palin enacted legislation in AK returning large portions of the oil field revenue to the states population. She has more experience in executive management then Obama and Biden combined.

Emotions are running high, which is good, people feel strongly about these matters as they should, but lets not blind ourselves to what has and is happening. This big bailout is socialism leaping forward, and bails out the fat cats who caused this mess with us paying for their lifestyles. There are 545 people in Congress/Govt who have created this mess, only a handful who are honest enough to say what has and is happening and has any sound ideas to turn it around, which will take years now.

Nuff. Off my Soapbox.

It helps when the WORLD price of crude takes a big drop, nothing to do with politics!
Lets see, we pump the crude, refine it and sometimes it only has to travel a couple of miles to a Service Station. An example of how we get shafted, U.S. gallon = 3.87 Canadian Litres, so at $115.9 a litre x 3.87 we are paying $4.48 for a U.S. gallon of gas. $3.29 a gallon is only $.85, we haven't seen it that low in years. s49
 We are paying $121.9 a litre for diesel x 3.87 = $4.72 a gallon! s49
It wasn't just VW and M. Benz, that made diesel popular, there aren't too many 3/4ton trucks running around up here with out Ford/Dodge/Gm on them!  s176
