   Interestingly, it went down to $3.44 in Wichita, then, yesterday, it jumped to $3.59 (as oil dropped to $111, a 3 month low.  Today, it dropped to $3.55. 

   I wouldn't want the job of setting the price, so the small oil company stations could make a profit, without driving the customers away.  If I was stuck with the job, I think I could do it in a more sensible way.  (I hope).

Interesting read. Even while the price of oil is dropping, the price at the pump still remains high.

If the price of oil per barrel does go below 100 US$ you can bet the farm that the US Feds will incorporate the increase on the fuel tax to fund road restoration they were trying before the global price increase.

This will also give the states the initiative to increase the fuel tax for there own state road funding, which inturn will bring the price of US gas per gallon back up to the $3.00 pus per gallon, since the market has accepted it.
