Just checked the Sportsman in question and found the temperature to be 98.7 from one source and 99.1 from another source. Humidity is kept around 50-55% during incubation and around 70% for hatching. I just acquired another Sportsman 1202 slightly used and plan on trying it on my next batch of eggs to see if it performs differently or the problem is me.

How was your current hatch of 70%? Were there alot of dead unhatched chicks again?
