My first try at hatching Bobwhite Quaill eggs gave me a 75% hatch rate using a Little Giant Still Air Incubator. I started out with 55 eggs of which one was cracked. That left me with 54. I had one egg pop in the incubator and had two that were clear. A few birds started pipping the shells but died before coming out. The end result was 40 healthy birds. The eggs were bought from "BirdBrained" on the forum here (Eric Fosberg). Great dealing with Eric.

That's great. First time hatching or just first time hatching Bobs?

This was my first time hatching eggs of ANY kind. I was very pleased with that pecentage rate. Also Eric's last name is FosBRINK and not Fosberg.
