baby quail in Arizona- light bulb needed?

I found a baby quail, probably only a week old. Fits easily in my hand. I have read everything on here in hopes of keeping him alive. It is 90 degrees plus here these days. Do I still need a lightbulb in his box? I put a mirror and lid of water in already. Thanks for any help.

Depends on the night-time temps in the box, and his age. If his wing feathers have not emerged, then he is probably only a week or less old. He will need 95*-100* heat at night when the temp drops. If he has some wing feathers, he is a week or older and will need a temp of 90*-95* at night. If he's in a box, where he can get away from the heat, he will regulate his own temp. You probably only need the light at night.
And make sure you feed him 28%-30% gamebird or turkey starter

Thanks, I fed him cornmeal over the weekend and he is ok. I did put a drop bulb in his box. I think he is probably only about 2 weeks. He got into the garage. I will go get some food. I still hope to reunite him with his LARGE (15 +) family. They should be here tonight. Do you know if they will accept him back?
