how do you tell male from female
in the coturnix the only way i can tell
is just watch when grown but would
like to know another way?  :?

Once they are sexualy mature, when you push by the vent on a male you get a white foam that looks like shaving cream.

also, the males crow.  loudly.

and the females have black dots on there chest and the males have a rusty colored chest
