53 days now over 100
Nights low in mid 80
4 pm barns getting 125 plus

We have had quite a few of those here in Louisiana ourselves....it is really rough on the birds they are always panting..

Day 59 now today 103 with heat index 107.
Our toughest year dealing with the birds

Well still going over 100.
But now we have wild land fires.
Just to our west, but we have the smoke.
So far it has consumed 10 square miles in 2 days.

If you want to see what scorched feathers smell like come to TX.

.........And to think: Al Gore is up in arms about Obama not enforcing the EPA regs on climate control.. They (Ob and Gore) should be thinking about putting the fires out in TX and OK if they were so concerned about the climate and pollution.

As of this am some 1400 homes burnt to the ground in 1 fire in central Texas.
Yesterday one smoke line running from the North east corner of the state South to the coast through Houston,
