Here in Ohio I have had a few buyers that are not aware of Ohio Game Bird Laws.
Ohio Division of Wildlife Pub 306 covers all the laws dealing with wild animal probagation . I always try and give a copy out to people I sell birds to.
Seems to be too many trainers/hunters as well as individuals wanting to obtain birds for release on their property that are not aware of the three catagories of licenses.
If they posses a species listed in Ohio Laws such as Bobwhite Quail and use it to train a dog, "that's personal use".
In a nutshell three propagation license catagories:
1. Commercial ($40.00)
2. Noncommercial ($25.00)
3. Raise to Release (Free)
