It would be better to just go ahead and get them paired up if you want to...

What if it gets down cold again?  A couple of birds won't be able to generate the heat they had within a covey of say 10 or more, especially if they are in an open air wire pen?

Forgot to mention that they will be in wire open pens.

Thanks!

I've not hardly any experience with breeding pairs/trios. Although I've acquired the materials to build some roll out cages based mainly on the info and pictures obtained on this forum. Now I just need someone to kick me in the ***, to get me movin' on the project.

I split mine up today and banded them. They were not happy.

My wife helped and thought they looked tasty, even though she has never tasted one..........neither have I.

I need to get a net and a brain. I have three breeder cages behind a shed (so my dad cant see them). Well I tried to seprate this injured hen. Well she decides to fly out before I could get the door closed. Took a little time, but I am lucky she had an injured foot and wasn't flight trained. No I have to bring the birds into the shed put them in the cage their and take them back out to the back of the shed.
