Very cool, Sam-e jo, I had no idea turkeys made so much noise getting out of the egg! LOL! Happy mother Hen Day! Ghost.

Nice video, Sam. You must have some patience to have been there when the one chick came out of its shell. A little "rough and tumble" there at one point, and then off to sleep for the poult! How many did you end up hatching?

I have two in the brooder right now doing well and one is braking out right now in the incubator. I also had one that was stuck in the shell since yesterday and when I took the two out I helped that one out of the shell. I thought for shore it would have died by now but it is doing really well, its up and walking around in the incubator. It cheeped and cheeped all day yesterday out of the little hole it had in the egg and I thought I would at least make his last hours a little nicer by letting him out but he shocked me by doing so well! I am not getting my hopes up though b/c I figure there is still a chance of him dieing. I decided to name it Iffy b/c I was and am iffy on weather it will live,LOL. I still have two eggs that have not done any thing yet so I will  :xing: my fingures. This is such a cool hobby I am hooked now!!!

I thought I would up date my video and give some pics I took. The one I broke out is doing really well though looks a little scriffy,  had to help another one that was in for 24 hours but later I put it down b/c it could not get off its side. Then I cleaned out the inubator and checked the unhatched eggs. One had died a while back, all it was was a blob and the other looked fully formed but was dead and pritty small compared to the others. I changed a few stuff in the way I am doing things so hopefully I will have a better hatch with my quail. Well enough talk here is the video and pics.......
