thats right  NHPete. live free or die.  j2   southern NH. I grew up in Londonderry. moved to  North Conway when my first daughter was born  3 years later my father sold the house I grew up in to a couple from mass. house came with 7 acres of woods and fields , my dad was talking with the potential buyers and mentioned that right from the deck off the back of the house they could watch all kinds of birds. and other animals  and white tailed deer are very common . the husband didn't say anything but the wife was petrified and stated  DEER!! DON'T THEY BITE??  I think the biggest wild animal she ever saw was probably a mouse  I heard she was dragged off the next year by a saber toothed doe. s020

I have family in conway.
Spend some time in Glen each summer.
Kids love the river.
Me I love the mountains, fresh air and the laid back pace of the north.
