Hi all i am trying to find out if there are any mutations in the valley or gamble quail with the large numbers been bred some would surely have turned up jim

I dont know about the breeding but I have seen a valley cock with two "combs" before.

I believe his post was asking if any one had seen any mutations in valley's and Gambel's. I haven't had any myself, but another breeder I know had an albino Gambel's chick a few years back which I belive she posted on this website.

I did have one white Gambel's quail hatch out. I got the eggs from a breeder in Texas, bird288, another member here. He has had a few other white gambel's hatch out from some of his birds. Mine didn't make it to full feathering. These birds are simply mutations, they are not bred to produce anything but normal birds. Jay just happens to have a bird that produces these occasionally. I'll try to attach a pic.
