March 29/09.
Amherst never did like snow. Had to chase him out onto it. Which got the Golden worked up so he was out as well, looking for a fight. Golden has never feared the snow. He is out on it every sunny day.
Amherst is an 03 bird.
Golden is unknown age. Wife got him as a "rescue" from someplace in town, while I was away working.
So we got the Golden in 05 or 06. He was full color, so he is at least 5 years old. Sun was on the other side of the Golden, so the colors do not show well.
Camera is a cheap Canon Power Shot A540 6.0 mega pixels.

Weird. The original pictures look good. Yet after up-loading to photo bucket, then here, the quality went way down  thk1

Proud looking Golden you have there Reeves strutting for the camera. Clean healthy birds.
The tails are great. You take good care of them and have given them plenty of space.
It shows in the pictures.   s98

Very slowly. It will not really start to go fast till it stays above 0c at night. Over night temps for the next week range from -8c to -10c. Day time temps into +1 to +5c for the next week.

Not for me or the camera. He spotted the Amherst male out on the snow when I chased him out and is looking for a fight. Big time !
