Kick 'Em Up - Knock 'Em Down

« on: June 02, 2014, 12:43:00 PM »

Partially or mostly pulling the plug.  Had the pens collapse again in late spring snows which would make it 3 times in 12 months.  So, I am selling two of my incubators.  These are 1202's with electronic thermostat, wafer backup, and automatic turning.  I will also sell the auto humidity bucket with two float pans and 12 of the KRC59 egg trays.  Each of these incubators will hold 354 pheasant eggs.  I have averaged about 83% hatch rate with them over the last five years.  I am looking for $900.00 for everything or best offer.  Shipping would be extra and picked up would be preferred.  You can post back here or email me at srichardson@mattisoncontractors.com if you have any interest.

Thanks!

We've had issues the past two years as well.  Hate to see you get out of raising birds.  Its definately more than just a hobby that the average person just starting doesnt realize.  Best of luck to you.

Thanks RedOak, I kept one 1202 and my 1502.  The chukar pens won't take too much to get operational again.  Maybe next year :)
