That picture is off of my front porch. That is a white oak on the right with leaves and a chestnut oak to the left of chicken tractor/shed. (Chickens are in the freezer).

Dec. 25/09

-20c and calm.

You guys are hooped for gifts today.....Rudolf the red nosed Mule Deer has been bedded down by the alfalfa pile all night !

Nice place Chuck ! I like the view you have !

If you made a 3000' square on my place, and yours, there would be more land in your square than mine: your land is all piled up !  s020

Another good thing about your land......you wouldn't have to watch your dog run away for more than a few minutes.
Dog runs away here.....and you can watch him for three days !  s020

Hey!  It's cold down here in Tn.  We have not had a day above freezing in over a week and the weather is only supposed to get colder!  Last night down to abut 9 degrees F.  I think Reeves is shipping us his cold Canadian weather.  It is time for some warmth here in the south! All my flock are doing ok, but I'm tired of chipping ice and hauling hot water.

Hey  Reeves grab on to that jet stream and stop it.  Here in Texas had 6 inches of snow and they are calling for the coldest weather in 10 years. Wed night comming in and staying through Sat. 3 days below freezing for highs and single digits at night. But back to 50 on sunday. Birds don't know what to do.

It's still cold down her in the great state of Tennessee, but their is hope for warmer weather next week (and rain, yuck!).  Temps over the last couple of nights have gotten down to 5 degrees F. and we did have a trace of snow, but only an inch or two.  Sure am looking forward to warmer weather so I can finish my small parrot house.  It is just too cold out to do it now.  The picture is looking out my back door at my pens with their very cold birds.  Keep warm all!
