Hi, I would like to know what are the markings that determine the difference between a male from a hen with the Tennessee Reds. Thanks

i hatched some about 4 weeks ago for the first time .from what i have been told the males will have white on their throat or chest females will not this, is in solid color birds .i have some that look like bobs but they have different colored stripe not white and brown like typical bobs have got to figure these guys out!

|
All of my males have significantly darker markings (might as well be black)on their heads. Stripes above and below the eye with a darker throat patch. Hens are pretty much the same chocolate brown all over. Usually I can tell just as they are getting their flight feathers (I'd guess around 6-8 weeks).
