Title: I have a couple of questions.

Ok here it goes. I am planning this summer to get two types of quail bobwhites and tuxedos. I live in central Ohio, and  I have heard you can't mix two species of quail most of the time so I plan on making to different pens. My parents just bought our new home on a 4 acre wooded lot, so I plan on putting the pens in the woods a little bit from the house. I don't know if it makes a differance but our property is on a slope. How big do I need to make the pens for the quail, or how many birds can fit in a certain amount of feet. Can tuxedos be kept outside as long as they have a place to get away from the weather. I've heard that bobs would do ok but didn't know about tuxedos. I am a novice and had a breeding pair until they died. I really miss them and wont to expand a little. If I get the bobs to breed I will hatch and release some in my woods. I thank you for your advice.
