Did you guys hear the one about the Girlie-boy who walked into the saloon in Dodge City, spat on Wyatt Earp, and John Holliday, then cried "Homophobia! Prejudice! Why are you against me?, when he got his butt handed to him?

By Reeves reply you would think he knows something that the rest of us don't.  That's a good one wildergamebirds

Reeves probably knows a lot of things the rest of us don't.  I think it's time we all show him more respect.

As I am a young bird breeder, a beginner if I compare myself to most of you, I must say that Reeves is in fact a man with a lot of knowledge. With all I've read from him, yes I learn a lot, like I do with other ''older'' men on forum, but the quality of information is really nice.

Thanks

Frank

Part of the problem may (?) be with the new(er) folks that drop in here. They do not know that I've been involved with "Game Birds" all my life (as has my Father). They see that I only raise a few species of bids at this present time. They do not know that over my life (52) I've had many species of birds. I have also raised many breeds of chickens over the years (no interest in them any more).
They also do not know I've been a member for many years. I was on the original forum as well.
So these young folk are basing their thoughts on a serious lack of information .

However, as I have many times disclosed, I do not know everything. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong.
I also think some of them want to get me worked up.
As you are very likely aware, some teens/young folk know a GREAT DEAL MORE than some old phart like me !

Wheww.....now that is an old picture!!  These digital computers won't hardly even transform it.   Looks as though someone else (older brother) is going to be "had" ?   :-o

''older'' men on forum,

I'm glad that I don't fall into that category, I'm just a wee young "whipper snapper".

Reeves,
One other thing I would add to my last comment. When I was on GBWF forum, you and few other men (you know who I'm talking about) made me understand that mixing species isn't always the best option. I still have some species together, I seperate them on breeding, but now before to buy a birds I think much longer. When I got my first Callipepla quail I've wanted to buy them too fast, I probably had a bit of luck to don't have real problems, I'm in birds since I was born (since I'm 1.5 months old to be honest) because of my parents, so about birds, I've been raised with them and I understand their attitude, but I'm still far to be an expert in captive birds.

Thanks to you and every other game birds breeders to the support, it's because of all of you if game birds husbandry will always be better!

Dad must have spent all his money on those darn D-7s !
He sold them all off. Always said: those D-7s will go anywhere, but they won't do anything

A few years after that picture, he replaced them with D-8s.

During summers, I'd tag along and have the run of the deck of the Cats. Pretending to help the operators pull/push control levers.

As an early teen, Mom said I had diesel for blood

OK, that's long enough, you can treat him like crap, again.

Frank, for some reason I thought you were one of us older guys.
