Title: propagation license to sell birds
Post by: PSUQuailer on June 03, 2007, 04:49:02 PM
Does anybody know how to get a propagation license to sell birds in Pa.  I have rasied birds for a while but wanted to start selling them.

You have to contact the Pa Game Commission for an application.

I am supposed to be getting a permit sometime next week.  The Game Commissioner told me I had to have a check for $25 and a letter signed by all the township supervisors saying they didn't have a problem with me propagating quail.

Yes, then they will normally check your pen sizes and set ups out..  they come every year here to check me out..
they may also check to see that you got your birds from an approved sources as well. .
