Man, If I'd known she was that pretty, I would have been afraid to talk to her.

Suddenly, I feel old and fat.

And look at those cages.  Looks like they were build yesterday, and the birds added 10 minutes before the pictures.  I try to keep mine clean for the health of the birds, but I'll never be in Good Housekeeping.

Oh, by the way, you say the play golf in Scotland?  Who'd a thunk it!

Hi Suz, a31 I love your set up, shows what a girl can do when she puts her mind to it! you and your daughter did a great job building the pens  s98
I'm still new here and spend most of my time using the search and reading.  My husban and I have raised and raced pigeons for about 20 years and have always loved birds,   we just started keeping quail  and have alot to learn about them. this forum has been a big help and thier are some old timers here that are always helpful j2
Keep posting those pic's I love seeing all the different set ups and birds j41

I'm always surprised that people think when a man says something nice to, or about a woman, he's "out to get her".  And if a man says something critiquing a woman, he is trying to hold her down, discriminating, or being cruel.

I give up.  I take it all back.  She looks perfectly, dead center, middle-of-the-road average.  Her pens are unimpressive.

And I don't like her Granny, either!

Well if you're that anxious to get rid of auntie, I should be cautious.  But if she's that bad, she's probably a good match for me.

Windows?  Sewing?  Who cares?  Did she have a hand in the pen building?  Can she handle a shovel?

You even build cages that are better than mine, and I'm a boy!  s020

You have one of the installations I saw for Coturnix and CPQ. Normally, most people will overcrowd them, keep them in a dirty place, but your installations can be described in one word : wonderful!

Really nice job, continue good work like this, every body should have a quail husbandry like this!

Photographing a flushed covey of wild Quail is pretty tough.  But with the new digitals, it's not nearly as hard on the Ego, or equipment (throwing, kicking, stomping) as with the opld film cameras.

I was asking about the Hoyt.  Assumed that was a bow.

Photographing a flushed covey of wild Quail is pretty tough.  But with the new digitals, it's not nearly as hard on the Ego, or equipment (throwing, kicking, stomping) as with the opld film cameras.

I was asking about the Hoyt.  Assumed that was a bow.

your right! put it on action or storts and hold the button down!!  s020 get some good shots that way! s020
the hubby uses the shot gun I think his shots are still better than mine  s020
yep Hoyt is a bow.

On the other hand, she might get out of here, unbruised, and not hating ALL men.  (Maybe just a couple).

He got a little weird with fame.  Tried to get the punk rock market, and all, I think.  Albums exclusively at Wal-Mart, like Gene Autry did with Sears.  Also think he tried the "spend more time with my family" thing.

In other words, I don't have a clue!

Not true Wilder !
Gals go up there looking because they are not so picky up there !
Now there is a thought, maybe Suz can advertise her Aunt up there ! I'm sure she will go fast.
Think she (Aunt) would like standing in freezing cold rivers, panning for gold ?

Thank you s98 My digital doesn't have that fancy action or sport setting

Then again, I bought my Olympus over 10years ago and at that time the highest pixels were 1.3 megapixel. I paid over $700.00 for it them. I still use it today, with the original memory card.

Got two new(ish) digitals here. Some functions I like, some not.
So I dug my 35mil out the other day, getting a new battery and film. The Canon AE-1 has a 300 zoom and macro. It will do what the new ones will not.
I want to get a few shots of a Raven's nest before the trees get too far along with the leaves.

I have a Minolta Maxxum 4 35mm and the Canon Rebel XT. I was very reluctant to go digital beacuse the photos I got from the 35mm were so great. But, I must say, I spend way less cashola on developing pictures that, well, suck!  I'll take pictures of just about anything, so I can shoot off 100 frames without realizing it now with the digital. But, I have to keep them both on hand for certain situations. You just never know!!

I still have that shiny new nickle left from last nights bet with "333"  I'll raise you a case of Diet Coke.  If she did, she's the only woman (under 80) who has.  She wants you to say it first, or is checking to see if it's important enough for you to remember!

  Trust me, I'm a Doctor!

Awww Suz, you have to learn to get him on the big ones like the 20TH, 25th, 30th, 40th, then really get him on the 50th,   isn't your 15th next year? well start droping hints that that 1 is a big deal!
our 1st 1 I got a 22  I think it was a winchester a 30/30 with an interchangeable 16 gauge, both our son got when he got old enough.  and on others I got things like the truck I wanted and got to drive for a month, then he always need it for something s020
