Sorry Jim......... s6........just had to make things clear, that it isn't my fault!
Now that was just plain mean, if my skin wasn't soooo thick, it might have upset me.
I can only apoligize, I was "out of body".............besides, the devil made me do it! "She" figured that you had calmed down by now and was ready for some harrasement on your predator proofing abilities. Plus, I knew that you have been cut before and didn't bleed much.
:-*

"She"
???
No need to say sorry to the old country red neck.
One would think that living in the wilds of Canada, he would know better than to feed his birds to the wild life. It may habituate them and change their feeding habits.

jimmy how does those rabbit feeders work out for you???
-
I put 1/2x1/2 wire over the opening so they can't rake it out but can still get to the feed, works out pretty good thank ya Jim
-
Do you put the wire at a 45* angle in the bottom?
-
Slider, I guess you could say that I cut the wire the size of the opening where they feed from. Then slide it through the opening where you would put the feed to fill it and wedge it in place where they would feed from. If you did not understand that let me know and I will try to get a picture of it so you can see what I'm talking about thank ya Jim j1

I got you. thanks

excellent pics!
I have a couple questions - what is the large white PVC pipe in the flight pen?
And the black coop cups on the outside of the brood pens?
I'm assuming that the large pens are for raising hunting birds? I plan to keep meat/egg birds and raise them in rabbit cages. I have two condo's like this:
http://www.woodyswabbits.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=3147 and then a few 30x30, 24x36, and 24x24 single pens too I plan to use.

bkvail, the PVC pipe in the flight pen is a water for the birds they have 3/4 holes about 2" apart down one side. They can stick there heads in the hole to get the water but do not soil the water. The black coop cups are waters for the breeding pen with a hole cut in the wire so they can stick there heads out to get a drink and not soil the water. The main thing is to keep the water as clean as possable. I seen the price of your condo's couldn't you make them for about half the price thank ya Jim

great ideas on the waterers!
Yes, the condo's can be made for a lot less, and have in the past..... The ones I have also have the plastic dura-trays, but bought them used (and nearly new!) for only $30
