Title: ACADIANA AVIARIES

Garrie Landry is a great guy to deal with and has sent eggs a few times to me.  I have 7 different types of his button quail and I have on order 4 of his coturnix breeds.  All is well.

Passenger Pigeon is a beautiful bird, so bad that it's extinct, like Labrador Duck... Maybe that with science it will be possible with DNA from feathers to create again those birds in few decades (I hope I'll see this!!).

My dad already went in the wood with my mom (at this time they were still studying biology and were not wedding, oh, of course, the most beautiful work they have made that is now 18 was not alive  s020) and a friend and they saw two HUGE doves and they all thought that if Passenger Pigeon would not be extinct, it would have been a ''Woody'' strain of Passenger Pigeon, but it's probably only huge Mourning Doves and with the light they were not the same color... At least, they have not done like Audubon to identify the bird :  c110       a31

There are some species that when I see they are extincted, I'm angry on the oldest generations, like the Dodo (I don't know if you also call it like this in english). Some extinctions are natural, but some are not and that's too bad!

Unfortunately (as proved here)  "The Dodo Bird", is far from extinct!

Okay, so back to Garrie.  Yes he is a great guy to deal with.  I look forward to the colors of birds/breeds he is sending me from the coturnix.  Currently I only have the Jumbo XLD1 and the Texas A&M, but he is offering me 4 more breeds.
