Now that spring is around the corner, I decided to get started on the new pen project I've had planned.

I've got 3 up over this weekend.  The metal skirting, which will match the barn and provide a sight barrier, is due to arrive Friday.

Once these 3 are finished (Phase I), I'll start on 'phase II' replacing the chainlink panels you see in the background to extend additional pens that direction that match what those in the current Phase I are.

Each section of pen is 8' wide x 12' deep x 8'3" tall.  Wire is vinyl coated 1.5" squares.

Good looking set up.What kind of birds are you going to have in them?
Would like to see pictures of the completed project. Good job.

Not completely sure yet  dk2, but it won't take me very long to fill them up.

Most likely Pigeons, Quail, chukar or Turkey...since those are what I mainly raise.

Metal arrived today for the sight barriers.  Was able to get it all up after work today.
Now I just need to fill them up and start on phase II (3 more attached to these 3).

Here are some pics of the finished aviaries so far.
