Long story short, a fella left his Chev S-10 on/in a parking lot in Edmonton in Sept. I was on the ball today and I get it for........free !
I'll be picking it up this week, as soon as the keys get here !
It is also a 4x4 ! Cool !
Only thing wrong (so I'm told) is the alt is shot. No big deal: I'm a fix it sort of guy  t15

More then likely it is the diode in the alt. Have CharlieHorse send ya up a used one from his spare parts, or send down the alt and have him rebuild it better them new. Just think, you can be the only one in your area that has a Chevy S-10 brooder alternator.

Yehhh,  and you could use it as a back up generator for your house when the power goes out.

If that where the case, it probably be best to trade it off, before Reeves has to listen to any of this:   a26

Got the message this morning that the keys etc. have been sent yesterday. Not sure if he meant Fri. Sat. or Sunday though ! At any rate, if the keys are here today, I'm off to the city for the truck.......providing it is still there ! I'll have to make a phone call to find out....

Also hope it is not a rust bucket !

Oh well, if it is I can always use another   a27 chaser
