Hey everyone. I have been holding off on raising gamebirds since I  got my bird dog. he's an english pointer pup coming up on a year old. Will it hurt him to raise a batch of bobs and coturnix penned up outside. I dont want him to get bored of birds and didn't want to risk it. Any comments would be appreiciated.
thanks alot.

I have a German Shorthair Pointer and he has not got bored with them. He would still love to get at them if I would let him. I think he would rather hunt than eat though. Every dog is different so I can't say for sure about every dog but it seems to put the fire in mine.

thanks for the reply. I remeber seeing something on this on the site a loong time ago but must have gotten deleted when the site was changed.

Well I might just raise a batch this summer and see what happens. if it comes to be a pain I can just release em or eat em. either way its a win win situation.
thanks again
