hi, since nobody here on the forum knows what it is, and Ive researched litterally to the point of giving up (perhaps Ive missed something?), I'm gonna put this bird down to being a new, bigger, and very docile breed of quail that produces very large eggs on a daily basis, if anyone is interested in  continuing this breed please contact me as i have eggs coming out of my ears at the moment but not really the space for the venture, cheers Pete.

Have you posted this on GBWF ?

You may get more info on it.

If you do not have an account there let me know, and I'll post links to this and your other topic, see what we get.

Looks like a Tibetan (AKA Range) Coturnix to me.  What do the eggs look like?

Yup definitely a single barred Range coloured Coturnix quail of the Jumbo variety. Thier eggs tend to be around double the size of a regular sized jap's egg.
