I have japanese quail in the brooder at about 1 week old and im using a cardboard box with some mesh plastic netting on top but its not secure on it because i have the lamp in the way and i was wondering at what age are they when they start flying out? p33

Depends on how tall the sides of the box are??? Usually they will start trying to fly out in about a week to 10 days old.
