Google is the second Brain to many of us. We use it frequently. It uses
white screen which consumes high power. Read the following......... If
Google had a black screen, taking in account the huge number of page
views, according to calculations, 750 mega watts/hour per year would be
saved..
Â
In response , Google created a black version of its search engine,
called Blackle, with the exact same functions as the white version, but
obviously with lower energy consumption: Help spread the word? Please
use  www.blackle.com

How timely, I have a friend who is an RN, and a Fourth Grade Teacher.  I was just trying to check something on yahoo search, with no success.  I tried Blackie (which is actually spelled as Blackle on their site.  I quickly discovered that this is, in fact National Nurses Week, as well as National Teacher's Week,  Will save a bit on gifts for her, at least!

Now, if Google would also use black letters, we could save even more!!!!!

Yahoo ? I assure you it was purely coincidence.  By the way, what was posted about  www.blackle.com arrived word for word in email this morning.

Black letters ?  Don't say that, we'll probably have to buy glasses or some sort of screen helper to see it.

An RN and a Teacher, don't hear of that combination to much - Is there such a gift ?

She was Teacher of the year in her little (5-10,000 pop.) Tenn. town, last year.  Works 4, but usually called for 2 more shifts at one hospital.  Every other Sinday at Hospital in another town, because she likes the people there.  And the masochist teaches clogging in her "spare time".

  Any ideas why she's single?

Maybe something like those 3-D glasses, they could use a deep Burgundy on black screen.

If you knew the deep South U.S. you would understand.

On the other hand.  Do the initials "Up Yours, Reeves"  mean anything to you? s49
