How do you I clean out an incubator and turner after each hatch. Do I clean the top half of the incubator too.

I clean mine with a bleach/water solution in a spray bottle, the rinse with clean water, being very careful not to get the electronic controls etc. wet. Then I lay it out in direct sunlight for a while. Be sure to get all the bleach rinsed off, I would guess that bleach would deteriorate the styrofoam if left on it over time.

Yes, clean it all, but be careful on motors/electronics!

What is the #of water to bleach? Also could it work if I got it on a towel and wiped it insead of spraying, And it is cold right know so how do I drie it. I really need to know because I plan on buying some eggs soon. Thanks for your help and time.

Last week I needed to clean out my incubator
and i used a 50 /50 bleach/water  mixture.  i sprayed the intire incubator
and then used a blowdryer on the upper half of the incubator.I was amazed on how clean it became. its been 4 years since i used it last.

How did you spray it without getting it on the electronics?

I just sprayed it and yes i did get it wet but thats why i used a blow dryer.  it dryed up quickly. like i said before it was 4 years since i used it last and it was pretty dirty. I was amazed at how clean it became.
