Passenger Pigeon is a beautiful bird, so bad that it's extinct, like Labrador Duck... Maybe that with science it will be possible with DNA from feathers to create again those birds in few decades (I hope I'll see this!!).
My dad already went in the wood with my mom (at this time they were still studying biology and were not wedding, oh, of course, the most beautiful work they have made that is now 18 was not alive
) and a friend and they saw two HUGE doves and they all thought that if Passenger Pigeon would not be extinct, it would have been a ''Woody'' strain of Passenger Pigeon, but it's probably only huge Mourning Doves and with the light they were not the same color... At least, they have not done like Audubon to identify the bird :
There are some species that when I see they are extincted, I'm angry on the oldest generations, like the Dodo (I don't know if you also call it like this in english). Some extinctions are natural, but some are not and that's too bad!
