i just got a call from a friend who found 3 large incubators for $125 all he knew about them was that they were made of wood and had 5 to 6 racks each sounds like a steal  but  i dont know  ill try to get some more info on the tomorrow (do u guys know where i could get some pics of wood incubators to try and find the ones he has ? they are older

I'd probably grab those up in a hurry!  What kind of wood?  Plywood such as the modern cabinet style or something like this:   http://www.thatquailplace.com/smf/index.php?topic=3831.0;topicseen ?    $125 is only about a fill-up of fuel in my truck several months ago!  As long as all the controls (stats, heater, fans, etc.) are intact and operable, it would be worth that just for one to me.......I'd build my own cabinet if I had too, or repair those, if needed.  You never know, the bottom could be rotted clean off from setting on a wet basement floor or something.

Good luck, let us know what you do and post some pics if you buy them.

ok i final got them they are leathy  incubators  looks like 7 tray or 6
i had to crop the pic hope they turn out ok

they look to be in good shape  need cleaned and some little tlc  2 seat to be working  1 is missing the fan though
probley will replace the  wafer thermostat

heating elements is on the bottom with the water tray  and i belive its red wood (might be ceader)

im going to keep one and sell the others



side note  wife said im sleeping on the couch for awhile(didnt tell her what i was doing )

update i will have one redone in a day or 2 minus a new heating element  i didnt stain (wood so old stain surned it almost black) i went straight to clear cote and it turned a very pretty red color all new wireing and switches and will be installing a new digital thermostat  will try to get some new pics when its done
