I am so happy!  It is day 17 of incubation and so far 31 button quail have hatched (out of 49!).  That's 63% hatch on eggs shipped from Florida to New York.  I would have been just fine with 10, but more than 30, wow.  They are so tiny and there's such an array of colors!  I definitely recommend Dan Schneeberger for eggs.
There are actually way more chicks than I expected so I will need to get rid of some.  I just want one pair or trio of each color.  The rest can go.

yea, no matter how many times I've hatched buttons, they always bring out the kind in me.

Buttons are a lot of fun.  I've never seen anything that small move that fast!  Thier like little rockets.  These are day old chicks.  There are twenty in my hands.  Good luck and enjoy.
