I just want to double check with you guys. if I am incubating Japanese Quail eggs, the incubator temp should be around 104 F, right? If so, My brooder is too cold!!!! It's been 95 -100. That explains the crappy hatch rate I had with my first clutch. **head desks**
Once the chicks are hatched, I kept my first chick at about 100 F and slowly dropped it over a few days. I am a tiny scale hatchery. Most of my experience is with cockatiels, and I've just got into quail breeding. Such Joy! LOL! The more I research this stuff, the more I realize I have more to learn.
