VERY aggressive Mountain Quail

 hlp2 Anyone experience aggression towards humans with their Quail during breeding season? My very tame Mountain Quail Cock has turned into a Banty rooster! He is 3 yrs. old and attacks me when I enter the pen to check for eggs. He has also gotten huge in the last 2 months. Hoping he chills out after breeding season.

He will and its normal with some males. I have Bobwhite do the same thing..
