For the most part shipping birds has gotten to be a nightmare. I used to ship around 5000 quail a year out of Oklahoma City. The airlines,u.s.p.s. refuse to take them anymore. Shipping will become a thing of the past in the next few years. You might try it and see how it goes. I have heard more horror stories about d.o.a.'s this year than ever before. It does no good to file a claim on the insurance, they will refuse it. However, there are still some places in the country that can get birds shipped.

Shipping has been a problem not to say the least, but there are other options someone may take to ship birds. You may have to drive to the nearest hub facility to ship your birds. You can contact Steve Boynton at (301) 349-2664 or John Bonafilia at (202) 268-2784. Please share with them your concerns about shipping lives and ask them to resolve this issue immediately. They can help get your birds shipped with little or no inconvenience. Hope this helps!
