Hello, I'm new here.  I have a question about turkey egg incubation... I'm using a hova-bator incubator with a No 1611 GQF universal egg turner and was wondering if the chicken egg racks would be large enough to use for wild turkey eggs or should I order the goose egg racks. Also the hova-bator box type incubator has a turbofan kit added to it and was wondering if egg clearance would be an issue. thanks for the help.

I would use the goose turner and put the extender in the incubator..Turkey eggs are kinda a inbetween thing but I would play it safe..Good Luck...

A minor update to post...looked into ordering a goose egg turner from GQF but the turner that they sale will not work in my older style hova-bator box incubator without an extender which they do not sale anymore...guess I'm going to be turning them by hand afterall.

Can you make the extender yourself?

Yeah.......that should be a cinch!  The simple things would be easier to use if they were taller anyway.
