I got 100 may 2nd put them in a 4*4 brooder only lost 3.  I could not find any marbles to put in the water.  Bult another 4*4 brooder so they are split.  All eating and doing fine.  They seem pretty easy to me just like chicken.

I don't raise ringnecks but have thought about.  I have read that they take 20-25 sq. ft. That seemed alot to me and a little to much for me at the time.

Chinese, Mongolian, Formosan, Strauch"s, Afghan, Black-necked, Melanistic, California golden & White. (plus a few others)

All are of similar size .

So, what are your plans for them ? Pets ? Release ?

If pets, plan on 150-200 sq. ft. pen for a pair/trio.

If you plan to release, call F&W to see if you can do so. I do not know where you live, but you may need a permit to even have them ?

If you keep Ring Necks in too small of an enclosure, count on them eating each other. Some people have luck with them not doing so: I never did. (haven't raised them for MANY years, but know people that try every year)

If you are looking for pets, what about any of the many other species ?
