Title: New Flight Pen
Post by: AA Plantation on May 26, 2007, 03:20:14 PM
Building a new flight pen already have a cage that was built for something else 20 years ago
(http://www.plantationquailhunting.com/images/flightpen.jpg)
It is 125ft long 20ft wide and 15ft Tall
Going to cover it with Shade Netting and add a covered place at either end so the birds can get out of the rain

Looks good.  Post some pictures of it when you're finished.

Finnally got it done. Wrapped it in shade netting, and made 2 big doors on each end. so i can get a tractor or back-hoe in there to clean it out

Now that is pretty sweet!    Very nice, you are an inspiration.    A man with the means so to speak!

Great Job Dale, the shade netting is a great idea.  We are getting ready to build two others about that size.  I may steal the shade netting idea for the next ones instead of the top flight netting.  I like it.

Check out farmtek. they had the best price on the netting and since i ordered allot the shipping was free.
I ordered 3 pieces
130' x 25
(2) 130 x 10
If i had to do it again i would opt for 1 piece. 130x 45.
No matter how many pieces or just one big bulky one it will still take some help to get it up and stretched across.
