I checked out a  bird dog site that I was referred to through a member of this sites posts. and when you sign into this site they have a category / topic specifically for new members to introduce themselves . thought this was a good idea.

Ya like a welcome wagon! There has been at least one new member added per day, and some of those members never post. I wonder if it is one of those generated spam bots.

Some people only become members in order to view some of the pictures posted and for some of the other features that are not accessable unless your a member, such as keeping track of "unread topics" without having to sort through everything, everytime they visit.
